When field work demands technology that cannot fail
IXTUS operates in one of the most demanding environments in the world — vessels, farming sites and open field in southern Chile. With Teotech, they built the digital infrastructure their operation required.
IXTUS Solutions SpA: el contexto
IXTUS faces an unusual challenge: operating specialized technology in remote field environments — vessels, aquaculture sites and hard-to-reach areas in southern Chile. Every time a technician went out to the field, they carried a printed work order. When they forgot it, they would handle it with a ruler and pen. A technical company with demanding clients cannot operate that way. They needed a platform that would digitize their entire operation — from work order management to documentation with digital signature — without depending on unstable connections or paper.
What changed with Teotech
A system that covers the full cycle
Complete visual identity
The first step was building the IXTUS identity from its foundations. Logo redesign, color palette for technical and maritime environments, typography system, corporate stationery — business cards and letterheads — and application guide. A technical company needs to communicate rigor and professionalism before it shows its technology.
Web platform and management tools
With the identity defined, the IXTUS website was built as an active platform, not just an institutional site. Quoting tools and management tools were integrated so the team can operate from the web without depending on external manual processes.
Operations management system (CRM)
The core of the project is an in-house web system that fully digitizes field operations. The owner generates and releases work orders from the system. The technician receives, executes and digitally signs them from any device. The client signs off on completion. At closing, the system generates the complete document and sends it by email or message. Everything with differentiated permissions — the technician sees what concerns them, management sees everything.
Monitoring module in development
In parallel, the monitoring module is being built for the active tender project. The system allows registering vessels and cameras — onboard, interior, underwater — and viewing them on demand from the CRM, with per-user permission management. The long-term vision includes artificial intelligence for anomaly detection in aquaculture operations.
What was built
IXTUS went from managing field work with improvised printed sheets to operating with their own digital platform, deployed on their infrastructure. Every work order is logged, signed and documented. Management has full visibility. Technicians operate from any device. Documents reach the client immediately and professionally. And the system is designed to grow — toward camera monitoring and, in the future, toward artificial intelligence applied to aquaculture.
